Anton Spevacek
Anton grew up around music, his father a conductor and music professor, his mother a composer and voice/piano teacher, and his sister a talented vocalist. As a kid he sang, played a few instruments, was exposed to a lot of great live jazz and classical music, and listened to a wide range of music, from disco and funk to punk and metal to hip hop and soul, always being drawn to music with innovative new sounds. But it was after he moved to Arizona in the early 90's that Anton found his true musical passion. There he met Mike Gomez, Eddie Amador, and Pete Salaz and instantly fell in love with the music they were playing, house music, and soon started buying as many records as he could afford and mixing whenever he had the chance. In 1994 he started promoting and DJing a club called ¡Chupa! with Pete, Eddie, Mike, and several other talented musicians and promoters in Phoenix. During three years of weekly parties at ¡Chupa! and many other parties around Arizona, Anton had the opportunity to play with some great artists from around the country and started to develop his own sound. Equally inspired by the tracks being produced and played by his partners, the sounds coming out of San Francisco, and the deep house music of New York he wove together deep and funky sets that spanned genres, gaining a diverse and enthusiastic following around Arizona. In 1997 he found himself drawn to the people, music, and culture of San Francisco and decided he wanted to be part of that and made the move to northern California. In SF Anton continued to develop his style, playing at smaller venues and house parties around the city as well as back in Arizona, and starting to build a studio and play around with music production. In 2001 he decided to leave the beauty of the bay area to be a part of the music and culture of the great city on the other coast. Since moving to New York, he has continued to evolve his sound, DJing in the city and on the road, including several trips back to his old homes and down the east coast to Florida. Today his DJ style reflects his diverse influences and his desire to always make a set more than just a collection of tracks. Anton believes the power and beauty of music is relative to the moment it is being experienced and that the right sound at the right time can transcend and change perceptions. Moving smoothly from deep tech-soul vocals to driving bass heavy tracks to jazz and disco inspired grooves to innovative techy sounds and wherever else the music and moment lead, Anton strives to let the music build that space where everyone can just let it go and get down.

Brian Shelton
Originally from Long Island, New York, Brian Shelton spent his teen and college years on a skateboard. Constant injuries and general aging forced him to move on to concentrate on his other passion. Coming from a background of punk rock, heavy metal, hip hop and industrial, he was introduced to the club scene and it stuck immediately. He bought his first tables in 1996. Moving to Astoria, Queens in 1998, and then to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn shortly after, he became involved with the NYC party scene, djing at various nights around Manhattan with like-minded friends. In 2001 he began throwing "Digital Boogie" parties at the 59 Canal St loft with long-time buddy Peter James (RSSO) and Mike Davis (Cocomachete), which helped build a solid foundation for what would come in the future. As time went on and new friends were made along the way, he became involved with a group of very talented individuals, who would eventually call themselves RSSO, thus beginning a long stretch of amazing parties which continue to this day. At the moment, Brian has also branched off the NYC scene to begin a monthly party in Stamford CT with partner Matt Kinney, it looks very promising. It is impossible to pigeonhole the style of music one should expect in Brian's DJ set. Being a lover of all music, past and present, he will work through various sounds including, but not limited to: techno, house, electrofunk, spacey disco, afro, acid, punk, hip hop, ghettotech, new wave, balearic, dub, and so on.

KFM
Over the years, KFM has been heavily involved with supporting the house scene in the southeast. Originally from Daytona Beach, Florida, KFM was introduced to music at a very young age. Growing up in the south, gospel and R&B were major influences on him as a child. “There is just so much soul and feeling put into that music, but all music influences me.” He became a piano student at the age of nine and is now a musician and recording engineer. Growing up with 1980’s freestyle and electro at the skating rink gave way to house in the early 90’s, and of course lets not forget the Miami bass movement. “It was impossible not to be influenced by shake your ass kind of music.” KFM started dj’ing in 1996 and has been rockin’ dance floors ever since. Through dj’ing, KFM has been able to bring quality house music to the masses from Miami through the Carolinas to Philadelphia and finally landing in New York City. As with many dj’s, KFM plays for the crowd and says “to see people totally getting down on the dance floor is where I get my inspiration.” His style differs within the genre of house from deep dirty grooves to funky soulful beats with sex appeal. KFM has been known to lay down the grit that makes his listeners shake their rumps. Some mainstays in his collection will profile sounds from labels such as naked music, large, OM, Peppermint Jam Recordings, Doubledown, Utensil and the like. If you’re looking to let loose and shake your thang then let KFM take you on a ride.

pelham123
pelham123 has been involved with music since the fourth grade, playing in school concert bands through high school. Additionally, beginning in the ninth grade, he taught himself to play drums and fell in love with their raw rhythm. This penchant for throbbing beats carried over into his musical tastes at the time, which included metal, hardcore and punk. Bands such as Quicksand, Fugazi, Tool, Pantera and Meshuggah received heavy rotation in his CD player. Shortly after entering college in 1996, he discovered a new love while on the radio at WRPI and attending SUNY Albany’s EDMS parties: DJing. He began honing his skills in a trial-by-fire manner by hosting numerous radio shows and spinning at more than a few parties throughout his tenure at RPI. Following a post-graduate move to New York City, pelham123 was introduced to some real down and dirty house music that truly opened his ears to the four-on-the-floor formula, broadening his then breakbeat-oriented style. Although now mainly a house DJ, he is still known to throw down some breaks and dance favorites from time to time to spice things up.

Peter James
Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Peter James was surrounded by music at an early age. Throughout his youth, Peter was exposed to the fundamental and harmonious sounds of classical music from his mother and the fun and dynamic sounds of 50's rock by his father. All of this came together at the ripe old age of nine, with the 1984 release of Van Halen's album of the same name. Since then, music became a staple of Peter's daily diet. By the time he was an adolescent, Peter had grown fond of the sounds of heavy metal, most notably Iron Maiden, followed then by punk & hardcore with the sounds of the Misfits, Minor Threat, Black Flag, and Youth of Today. Shortly after graduating in 1993, Peter was introduced to house, techno, and breakbeats by the sounds coming out of the now legendary clubs Caffeine & NASA where he was usually found jackin' his body out on the dance floor. At these places and raves around the tri-state area, Peter became heavily influenced by the sounds of Doc Martin, DJ Spun, Josh Wink, Jason Jinx and Frankie Bones. After picking up his own set of turntables one year later, Peter looked upon his influences for inspiration and began a journey that is still continues on today. Funk, groove, bump, and jack will always be found in his sets that range from deep house to acid to tribal and a touch of techno. Nothing motivates Peter more to move a room than people on the dance floor flowing with his groove.
